Saturday Night Post Day 7!

Hello all - I just have to say I am SO BLESSED!!!

My friends share their little one's with me and it makes my HEART so very happy!!!

Couple Pics from over the weekend in Orlando...

AND.............. I posted about doing family photo's for long time friends - well today was their Mom's Birthday Party and the unveiling of her GIFT!!! Coleen emailed me a couple of photo's - this is why I do what I do behind the camera.. My whole weekend would of never happened if it had not been for my PASSION for Photography!!!

As far as my MIT's for today - I achieved them!! Time with Friends and Family - used my Drive time to listen to an audio tape on GOAL Setting by Brian Tracy - More on this book during the week.

Morning Goal: Water and Oxycixe at 5:30

MIT's (Morning)

1. Get the Garbage to the Dumpster

2. Clean the Litter Box

3. Use the Leaf BLOWER in the BUCS Room

Work MIT - Big one tomorrow - our regional Boss is coming in from Miami - I will have an opportunity to talk to him one on one... Please say Prayers and Send good vibes that I can be STRONG, Confident - talk to him about my Increase!! I just want to come across as CONFIDANT.. I am not good talking about myself!!

This morning was GREAT...

WW - lost 2.3 lbs!!
Grocery Store - Stocked up again.. LOL

I am headed to the Laundry Matt to wash the comforter (hope it dosent fall apart)

Then will be going to Orlando - I am not going to take my Laptop - I will have the touch!! Can't go 100% cold turkey.. BUT, this is big leaving home without it.. LOL Will give me a chance to listen to some of my Audio Tapes and WORK on my GOALS!!

End of Day 5 Check in!!

Ok folks....... I am running out of things to say about myself.. Those of you that know me - really know how hard this is for ME... I much rather Do for others and LISTEN than talk about me!!!

Real BOSS of this HOUSE.. Now if I could assign her some MIT's while I was at work.. LOL

Happy Friday!! Today was Day 2 without going to FB or Tweet the whole work day!! Work was good today - I got a lot done - helped a co worker even. And got to get out of the office for a lunch with my Boss and Office Manger.. GOOD Stuff!!

Follow up on my Afternoon MIT'S:

1. Dust the whole house - MOST Of it DONE!!

2. Organize my Shoes - have some in Garage, Office and Bedroom... HMNN time to get them in one place and then keep them in that same place.. :-) Ran out of energy for this one!

3. Follow up with my Cousin about getting the new Fixture in Kitchen installed Called him and he said he will call me back..

4. Deliver the photo's to the Feeley's - so that they can give to their Mom for her BD Sunday - YES Loved them - and ended up hanging out for 45 min chatting..

5. Oh yeah... Put that laundry away that is washing NOW.. They are in the dryer now - will get that load put away!

So tomorrow is Saturday - I will still get up at 5:30 (yeah Nuts)

I am happy to be making progress.. I have a long way to go - lots to do around this house - but step by step - day by day I will do it!!!

I talked about setting goals and limitations - one of the big ones I have decided was that there is NO reason for me to sit here in this house ALONE and drink - either beer, wine, tequila, rum oh yeah VODKA.. LOL I love my cocktails - and I will have them - just only when I am in a social gathering .. Family, Friends or otherwise. It is just silly for me to use my Valuable time drinking ALONE.. Now I will just have to invite people over more often I suppose.. HA HA Today is Day 7 without anything and to tell you the truth - being focused with Daily GOALS - I don't event think about it!!

I hope that everyone has a FANTASTIC weekend - I am going over to Orlando/New Smyrna Beach for a Special Little Boy's First Birthday Party - I was honored to be there when he came into this world - and they have invited me to share his special day......... Just not sure if I am going Sat Night or Sun AM.. Hugs and LOVE!!! M

Laundry sorted - one load is started (actually only had 2 to do) Amazing in itself!! LOL
All glass - table tops, Mirrors, TV's are Sparkling - (didn't dust I need some cleaner)

Work MIT's - Finish up on the billing issues / Had more creep up yesterday!!

Tonight's MIT's:

Day 4- Evening Update!

Hello Friends...

I feel like I am just starting to get a glimpse of how my Life can be.. Like what I see!!

It is ALMOST TGIF!!! I am ready for the weekend - but hate to see what I will come up with for my MIT's over a couple day's off!!! LOL (Actually will be heading to Orlando for a very special Birthday - either Sat or Sun AM)

Today was a REALLY Good Day!!!

I stayed off FB and TWITTER all day at the office... WOOHOO - got lots of work done - and guess what in 1 hour tonight I am all CAUGHT UP.. LOL


I did text message my Cousin about the Sink - will follow up again tomorrow!!

Went to the Rays game this after noon - weird get away time 4:08 but actually loved it!! Got to leave work early (of course being able to walk out the back door and be at the stadium in 4 minutes Helps) - I took my Cousin's Son Perry - we had a BLAST!! It was the first time in a LONG time that I didn't have a Beer at the game - worked out just FINE!! Cracker Jacks, Pretzel and Dots.. Good Junk FOOD - could of DONE WORSE!! LOL

Friday's Tasks and MIT's (Morning)

Water and Oxycise at 5:30

1. Gather what laundry I have (not much), sort and start a load.

2. Dust the living room - wash the TV Screen and glass top tables.


Sometimes I get very impatient... Yeah BIG SURPRISE!! My house isn't where I want it to be.. I have a lot of DE-Cluttering - but oh will it be sweet and easy to keep up with once I get there!!

Day 4 - Time flys when your Having FUN!!

Morning MIT's:

Ran the Vacuum and paid bills.. Depressing!!! I am stacking my credit card statements - and will be creating a spreadsheet to see where I am and what I need to do to get rid of them!!

Bathroom is cleaning as we speak - well sprayed it - will scrub it when I got get my shower!! LOL

BTW, I kind of started the habit thing last week - with my Chores list - my bed has been made everyday - and the kitchen and bathroom sinks are cleaned daily... :-)

This afternoon's MIT's:

1. Call someone (Kenny or Scott) to come install this faucet I got for Christmas.

2. Work MIT's - accounting - file bills - I have 3 that I have to make adjustment on invoices... Need to get this done!!

3. Going to Ray's game at 4 - Early game - taking Perry (I think)

Evening Day 3 Report..

Ok.......... I will admit it here .. right now.... Today was a VERY Tough day!!

I made excuses to get on FB and Tweeter - Used my Co-Workers situation as a excuse.. It was just that - I really do wish that I didn't need the Internet to do my job, and I know that I will break the habit - it is like eating when your NOT hungry.. Same type of addiction.. CRAZY!!

BUT, the GOOD news for today is.......... I was so much more productive at work today (even with my lapses) - I batched work - got my MIT's accomplished!! Nice Feeling !! I even took a 3o minute lunch on the balcony - BUT failed at Single tasking.. Right Shell .. LOL

Tonight was our first beach walk - this is something our Church has been doing for YEARS - I don't know why but I just never made it to one.. (I know why -see below) They had a GREAT cookout Hamburgers and Hot dogs, beans, salads - Tons of Desserts (I brought FRUIT) and ate that.. Yeah ME! LOL

The Message was FANTASTIC - Pastor Paul talked about being THANKFUL.. Asked which group we fall into - the Positive or the Negative!! HE talked about choosing out Attitude - and one with a Thankful Heart is much better!! Standing on the beach with the sand, water and sunset - how could you NOT be THANKFUL!!

I know my limitations - I have a very hard time in GROUP settings - I do much better one on one or smaller groups - This is something I have added as a GOAL to over come this FEAR!!

I am glad I went tonight - thanks for the gentle pushes.. LOL

Overall - I am Thankful for this day!!

1. Pay bills - that I have been carrying around for a couple weeks!! UGH

Day 3 - Still making PROGRESS!!

Good Morning Friends,

I think that I will start to post my MIT's in my evening Blog post - that way I can report in the Mornings how I did what what I said I would do......



So - this MORNING....


Water and Oxycise at 5:30 - I hopped up this morning - and it FELT GOOD!


1. Folded and PUT AWAY the Laundry/Dish towels I washed last night (even some clothes laying around in Garage)

2. Spot Cleaned the Carpet - thanks Cory for eating that lizard.. UGH

3. Cleaned litter box... all the way /emptied and cleaned

4. My MIT for work is to get my bid results/ Reported and FILED away!! Also, to get my accounting done - reporting bonds / labels and FILED!!

5. My tonight MIT is a bit different - but I feel important.During the summers our Church has a Potluck and Devotion out on the beach every Wednesday - for our Beach Walks - I have always wanted/thought about going but never did.. TONIGHT is the NIGHT!! So from 6 -8 that is where I will be!!

I have such a long way to go... BUT, I do have to admit it does feel good to make progress and moving in the RIGHT Direction.. I always thought - why BOTHER - no one is here to share this with me... BUT heck guess I didn't think I was worth it.. Beginning to feel like I might BE!!!

Evening Day 2 Report..

Ok......... Focus and Purpose is Wearing me out.. LOL

Had another good day - I was more focused at work today - still trying to figure out how I am going to make this work with the type of business I am in... BUT, I can see where batching duties can save me time!!! Last week - when I had something to FILE.. It went in a TO FILE pile - and it PILED up! Today I filed it away .. WOOHOO!!

I accomplished both of my MIT's today - here are pictures to prove it... BUT!! not there are not any before pics - look at garage from yesterday and use your imagination.. HA HA

I can eat Green Beans and Oatmeal for a WHILE now. BUT - the best part is that I will NOT buy anything that I don't need - this will save me $$ in the long run!!

Note Cory the supervisor - she caught a lizard tonight - I was on the floor so getting up and rescuing it was OUT... She got sick 3 times already - UGH I knew she would!!!

OK................ Going to bed early again today and do it all over again!!! Nitey Nite XOXO

Habits - Day 2

Good Morning Friends !!

Take time today to see the BEAUTY that is all around you - the best part is it wont cost you a anything but a MOMENT of your time!!

Here I am on day two of de-cluttering my Life... Doing less to get MORE DONE!! I had a few bumps yesterday - especially with WORK.. My Job is one that you have to go with the flow and put out the fires - but I sure can figure a better way to do the ROUTINE Chores.. Working on that!!

Have to admit that it wasn't easy dealing with my FB and Internet in general ADDICTION!! I did only post 3 times yesterday - a RECORD.. LOL And once I get in my head and heart that I DON'T have to respond to every one of my Friends posts.. I might be OK!!! HA HA

This morning I succeeded in Day 2 of habit building - got my Oxycise completed!! Drank my first glass of H20!!

Today's MIT's (Most Important Tasks)

1. Put away the found dishes from the garage that I washed last night - emptied Dishwasher (DONE)

2. Re organize the Pantry (Can Goods and such) and the Cabinet under the sink - After work!

This week I will be calling to have the NEW Fixture installed - that I got for Christmas - think 6 months might be time HUH.. LOL

Will post later today regarding how my day went and how much more I got done DOING LESS!!

PROGRESS... Little steps!!!

First of all ... I did my Oxycise Routine this Morning - 1 day down 29 to go!!!

I did Delete all notifications from FB and Twitter - this helped my IN BOX so MUCH!!!

I have to say - I did only post 2 time - but I found myself going to FB and other Forums more that I needed to.. BUT like I said STEPS!

It is going to take me a while to LEARN how to Single Task - when I thought I was a GREAT Multi Tasker - it only got me FURTHER Behind.. Going to take time for sure!!

I came home from work with a GOAL in mind my MIT (Most Important Task) - I worked in the Garage - it has been a project that I have talked about for years ... NOW action is taking place!!

If finding a Kenny G Live Cassette is any sign that it was time - I don't know what is!! Well maybe the 4 camera boxes - of cameras I no longer OWN. 2 trips to the Dumpster!! PROGRESS

One more FIRST is I cooked Dinner (that's not the First) LOL - but I sat at my Dining room table - without the TV or Computer and actually tasted and ate my dinner (single tasking) LOL

Not sure that habit will stick or not..

Forming Habits..

Happy June 1st (Happy BD to my FRIEND Karen) - I have posted the last couple days about a new book I have been reading (listening to - LOVE audio books) and changes I will be making - to become a BETTER Margie!!!

LOL - Just me being a bit NUTTY... XOXO

Today is about choosing a NEW Habit - for the Next 30 Days I will do this one small task and it will become a habit and the benefits will be GREAT!!!

One of the things I am learning is that Multi-tasking doesn't WORK!!! If you think that it is efficient - think again - All it really does is make you do many things at a time and really none of them to completion - you get frustrated and DO NOTHING - at least I do!! So I am going to learn to Single Task and become good at many things!!!

This Months NEW habit will be: To get up each morning at 5:30am - drink an 8 oz glass of water, Potty and then do an Oxycise Routine - Great way to start the day!!!

Long time Family Friends...

I received a call a few weeks back asking if I could take some Family photo's for their Mom's BIRTHDAY... My Parents and their parents were friends even before we all were born...


Isn't FRIENDSHIP a wonderful thing!!!


Well they said that they hadn't had a picture done of the WHOLE family in years and some of the Grand kids were not even born yet... This is one of my FAVORITE things about photography - creating Memories that last a LIFETIME!!

I posted the Galley today - for the family to see!!! They were all VERY Happy!!

Making Habits - Working on ME!

This afternoon will be spent working on my Goals, New Habits and actually doing something to COMPLETION - so I will need your HELP... PLEASE!!

Is there something that you would like to form into a habit?? Take the challenge - the next 30 days concentrate on only this one thing - commit to it daily - and after 30 days you will have formed a HABIT!! I will be posting tomorrow - day one of my June GOAL!! I will have 3 new GOOD Habits by September!

Sometimes not so good things happen in your life - and even things that may of happened when you were young - can have a PROFOUND effect on your life forever!!! There does come a time that you have to take control - realize that only one person can ALLOW yourself to feel bad bout what happened or how others may make you feel.... that person is YOU!!!
June is going to be my BE KIND TO YOURSELF Month... Any takers?? XOXO

Personal Goals... Commitment to ME!!

It sure was nice to get away - spend time with GREAT Friends!!! Nashville was so much FUN!!

I have made a commitment to myself to get back on Track with my Weight Watchers - I went back for my Weigh in this morning - it wasn't as Painful as I thought it would be... Back on TRACK - went to the Gym and had my measurements taken - this will give me a starting POINT!!

My good Friend Michelle suggested a book to me - I purchased it from I TUNES last night and I am listening NOW!! I need to get MOTIVATED - and make some changes in my Daily routine and my LIFE!! It is: The Power of Less by Leo Babuta - it is AWESOME so far!!! Thank you for your Friendship and SUPPORT!!!

I will be working on My Goals over the weekend... If you don't have a GOAL you will never get there!!

One Goal for SURE is that I want to Lose 25 more Lbs by Labor Day - I have lost 20 so far!!

Our friend Chris was in town to visit his brothers - so I arranged a outing at the Rays game.. We had a blast - missing Chris's Wife Tammie and the Boys that would of made the night just perfect... It was a mere 10 years ago that all of us were sitting in pretty much the same spot celebrating my 40th Birthday.. My Dad was there too that night.. FUN Memories!!!

Also, my Cousin's Karol and Paul along with my Aunt Jeanne made it to the game too!!

I have been such a slacker with posting to my Blog!!!

I hope that everyone had a VERY Blessed Mother's Day!!! We had a nice Brunch with My Mom, Brother, Sister in Law and Trey - as well as Kathy's Parents... Glad we got to spend some time together...

To my Friends - you all are the MOST Amazing Mothers!!! It makes my Heart so Happy to see how much you love your Families.... Days like this makes me realize what I have missed out on..

Today all my thoughts and prayers are with my Good Friend Daph's Mom as she is in surgery this morning - I pray for a successful surgery, quick recovery and for her to be restored to health!!
